World Premiere: Porsche Panamera for 2017 PHOTO

The second generation of Porsche luxury sedan was presented on June 28 in Germany.

A few days after the first photo that appeared on the Internet, we have the opportunity to find out more details on the new Panamera. Although Porsche is not much deviated from the design concept from 2009, when the first generation saw the light of day, the new model is visually more harmonious than its predecessor, especially when viewed from behind.


The proportions of the vehicle are not significantly changed, but thanks to the silhouette, which now looks more like a coupe car roof height above the rear seats lowered by 20 mm, while the wheelbase extended by 30 mm, compared with the Panamera I.

All in all, the car is stylish more connected with the Porsche 911, but it was before, which is a plus and a step forward in terms of design.




The interior is significantly upgraded, also under the influence of the 911, with a large, 12.3-inch multimedia system in tablet form. The display took most of the top positions of the center console, while the central air vents instead of the side, as the first generation, are slightly lower, the panel on which the gear lever, and commands between the driver and front passenger are activated at the touch of a finger.

Even the passengers sitting in the back to get the truth slightly smaller screen with controls for climate regulation and other functions, which is located at the rear of the center console.


Given that this is a premium sports sedan, which will be used for longer trips, the boot capacity is 495 liters, with the backrest upright, to a maximum of 1,304 liters, with rear seats folded down.
